Hammers are the slowest weapons of the game and deal exclusively blunt damage. They have an uncharged strike which attacks in front of the player and a charged strike which attacks in a much larger range, and in rare cases, can hit those behind the player. Unlike Bows, the player can walk while charging or charged. This category also includes "axe"-type weapons that behave the same way as hammers.

Hold down the button to charge energy and then release it, dealing mighty damage. <Blunt> element attack. You can use this to destroy breakable blocks. You can inflict partial destruction with regular attacks. It's effective against monsters with low <Blunt> resistance. You cannot equip a shield.
